Seth's first day of kindergarten

Seth started school. By now he is an old hand at school. The school is a french immersion school so that will take some getting used to. They speak no english to the kids until 2nd grade. All of the teaching is done in french. He has already learned how to count, his colors and how to ask to go to the bathroom in french.

First lost tooth

Seth lost his first tooth this week.

He was trying to open a plastic bag with his teeth, when it came out. Seth was pretty excited. The tooth fairy made sure to visit.

Baseball 2005

Seth started baseball this week. He is playing on a YMCA pop-flies team.

Tonight Seth dictated a story to me. Below is the story verbatim.

"Illustrated by George Place" (that is what seth said the title was)
Author: Chad and Seth (seth said he wanted me to have some credit)

Seth was standing by his window. Then the wall was moving. Then the bed started to fly. Then the towel started to fly. Then Wrenny said "what, who tried to that that with magic." Then all the clothes were starting to fly and the wall started to fly. Then mommy said and daddy and Wrenny and Seth said "who just did that."

Then the hair came off all the people in town and they said "who did that." Lady was on the track and she said "I did it." Then all of the houses started to move. Then the pollows started to move in the house and the doors started to move. Then the rocks started flying. Then the streets started to get bumpy.

Seth's First Fish

This weekend, Seth, Wrenny and I went to the Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead in Olathe Kansas. We got to see all kinds of animals and Seth caught his first fish.

Seth got to feed the goats and chickens.

The weather was very hot so we had to make frequent ba-ba breaks.

This fishing was a big hit. I believe this was the first time Seth had ever fished.

I have heard there are couple of moments a father will never forget about his son. His son's first steps, his graduation from high school, his marriage and the first time he catches a fish. Well, Seth catching a fish was very exciting. I have wondered if it was such a good idea to take a picture of it, because that will make it hard harder to tell fish stories. I can remember catching my fist fish and it was" t h i s b i g".

AAFP Picnic 2003

Last friday, Seth and I went to the AAFP company picnic. It was held at the Benjamin Ranch. Seth got ride horses and pretend to be cowboy for a day.

The petting zoo was a big hit. A fearless Seth had no problem holding his hand out and feeding the sheep and ponies.

We also got to hang out with the Merritt's. Seth loved hanging out with his good friend Jessie.

Wrenny's Review of Pappa Keenos !

This week Wrenny reviews Pappa Kennos Pizza.

Wren Seth and I went to Pappa Keenos for dinner. Wren had her first taste of pizza. She seemed to enjoy it. She ate most of her pizza before she dropped it on the floor, which is always a good sign.

On Saturday nights they have Eric the Magician. He made a balloon hat for Seth. Seth seemed to think that Eric was pretty cool.

Seth had a little to much juice to drink and started to get rowdy.
