Wren had here first day at Académie Lafayette. It was the start of summer school. We decided to send her to summer school so she would get a head start on learning French.

Wren was a little scared at first, but big brother Seth was there to help her out.

She has the same teacher Seth had, Madam Elana. I think that helped to calm Wren down some.

Wren will do fine and should be pretty fluent in French by the end of the yea

Wrenny decided she wanted her hair short. She tried to cut her hair herself. After cutting two large chunks of hair out, she stopped. Staci took her to the stylest and finished the job.

Wren had her birthday at Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead.

We had a good crowd. The kids mined for jewels, went fishing and rode horses.

This week Wren turned 1 year old (although she will only admit to being 10 months.) We had a part for her at Loose Park. Complete with cake and party hats.

She had a heart shaped cake that was covered with strawberries (wren's favorite fruit).

A pretty good crowd showed up. Wren seemed to have a fun time. You can see more pictures here .
